NTRglobal Raises $34 Million for Expansion of Software-as-a-Service Technology

NTRglobal recently raised €22 million ($34 million) in investments for the expansion of its SaaS (News - Alert) (software-as-a-service) technology. Apart from its existing investors DEBAEQUE and ELAIA Partners, new investors Kennet Partners and Atlas Venture also participated in the financing round.

“We are very excited about the prospects of NTRglobal,” said Maximilian Bleyleben, managing director of Kennet Partners. “NTRglobal has established an exceptional market position, and has assembled one of the strongest management teams we have seen.”

NTRglobal raised the amount in order to accelerate sales growth among the Global 2000 and SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) in Europe, North America, the U.K., Japan and China. This is to be achieved by effectively using its new Information Technology SaaS automation solutions which is likely to be launched by autumn 2008.

“We have honed and proven the NTRglobal on-demand model and innovated with disruptive technology solutions over the last few years, serving both small enterprises and leading global corporations," said Luis Font, chief executive officer and co-founder of NTRglobal.  "These efforts are rewarded with strategic partnerships and significant further funding, which enables us to grab the global leadership opportunity that lies before us."

NTRadmin, NTRadminBots and NTRsupport are the new additions to NTRglobal’s SaaS solutions. These three new components of NTRglobal’s SaaS solutions will help businesses of all sizes simplify the intricacies often associated with IT.

Credited to be cost-effective, these features have made 12,000 plus companies in 60 countries adopt NTRglobal for self-hosted solutions.

“Clientless remote support software and remote access solutions are among the fastest-growing segments of the infrastructure software markets, with CAGRs (Compound Annual Growth Rates) of 20 percent and 34 percent2 respectively,” reported the IDC (News - Alert) (International Data Corporation) which is a market research firm.

Catalysts which accelerate growth in this market include the increased mobilization of workforces, increased IT outsourcing and the improved use of devices that require remote support and security.

In spite of the significant funding by international investors such as Kennet Partners and Atlas Venture, the Casanovas family, NTRglobal’s original investors will continue to be the largest shareholders in the company.
